leg pain

I posted yesterday but I think it didn't go through so I thought I would try again. I was wondering if any of you ladies are experiencing pain in the top part of your thighs and in your hips? I have mass of grape size fibroids that in total are the size of a grapefruit and wondering if that pain will go away after the hyst. Would aprrecitate any feedback. Thanks.

leg pain

I AM 7 DAYS POST OP, HAD TAH, I TOO HAD LEG PAIN AND NUMBNESS, I HAD A HUGE MASS ON MY RIGHT OVARY, I ALSO HAD BACK PAIN FROM IT, DAY AFTER SUREGERY THE PAIN WAS GONE, NO MORE BACK PAIN, I DON'T KNOW IF IT IS BECAUSE OF MY MIND CONCENTRATING ON THE BELLY INCISION PAIN NOW OR WHAT, BUT I THINK IT SOLVED THE PROBLEM, I THINK IT HAS SOMETHING TO DO WITH ORGANS PUSHING ON THOSE NERVES, ONCE THE PARTS WERE REMOVED THE PRESSURE STOPS.

BEST OF LUCK

Me Too

My right hip and the joints in my knees are killing me. I can barely walk. I have heard that this is caused by a hormonal imbalance. (progesterone) I have also heard that it can be from a fibroid on an ovary. I have two weeks to go and will let you know as soon as it is over with if all of these funny feelings go away. When are you scheduled and how do you post to this page. I am very new here and am having a hard time getting around. I so need to talk to some of these princesses and don't know how. I can reply and I was able to post in a place that I don't think people can find or go to very often. I hope all goes well with you. My prayers and blessings are blown your way. Are you ready? Here it comes. . . whoosh! Did you feel it? I hope so.
Hugs.

leg pain

Donna and Brenda Ann: welcome to Hyster Sisters. This is the right place to get both valuable information and wonderful support.

I had my hyst in December because a large fibroid was cause almost constan and very heavy bleeding and had aggravated a Rectocele due to the damage caused by the vaginal delivery of 2 large babies. Among other things, the fibroid also caused leg and lower back pain. The pain was caused both by the hormonal imbalance and the weight of the enlarged uterus. Since my hyst, I've had only very occasionnal lower back pain, at the time the egg drops and no leg pains.

Brenda Ann: if you want to post a new thread, there are several ways to do it. The easiest is to go to the board you want to post in (for example the "Pre-Op Board" where you are presently replying) and click on the "Post New Topic" button at the top of the page. You can also post a new thread if you are already in a thread by clicking on the "Post New Topic" instead of the "Reply to Post" button. Hope this helps.
