Almost 9 months now

I have to admit that I feel awful that I haven't checked in with hystersisters in months. I leaned on this site for the two weeks leading up to my procedure and for the days following and then I dropped out of sight.
I am the nut who dressed in a low-cut dress and hooker boots the day of my surgery and danced out of the castle the following day. I felt guilty when I read posts about how awful people felt after their procedure because I felt great.
Here's hope for the pre-op and new post-ops. In the past 8 months, I have felt better than I have felt in years. No more "granny panties" to hold the 2 or 3 or 15 pads that I wore 2 times per month. No more embarrassing "accidents" when the 2, 3 or 15 super -overnight pads failed me. No more double-over cramps that made my curly hair straight. And the sex....well........like I said, I feel better now than I did ten years ago. My one and only regret.........I should have tossed my uterus in the trash years ago! It held me back and weighed me down. Now, I am carefree and lovin' life.
It's OK to be scared, worried or nervous about such a traumatic procedure, but......you may end up like me......So Stinkin' happy you finally went through with it.
