Hysterectomy rescheduled

I was suppose to have had my surgery Tuesday but it had to canceled and was rescheduled for next Tuesday the 10th. I have an allergic reaction to the tape, from my gall bladder surgery, on my lower stomach and the doctor didn't want to do the surgery since part of my incision will be right where the inflamed area is.
I did find out that the mass in my uterus is NOT cancer . The doctor said that all cytology and blood work came back as not cancer.
I thank God for answering my prayers.

I am so happy for you Anita!!! You must be so relieved. Sorry you ad to be rescheduled, but at least it isn't to far of a wait for you. Good luck next week!!

Glad to hear that there is no cancer.

I just wanted to mention to you to tell EVERYONE you talk to the day of your surgery that you are allergic to the tape.
I was okay with the paper tape but the surgical drapes have the same adhesive as the regular tape and I had such a rash and inflamation on my belly from that. Just because it's in your chart doesn't actually mean they understand it.
