Endometriosis sufferers.....glad you got rid of ovaries? Glad you left them?

Well, it has now been 14 months since my surgery. Most of the time I am o.k. with it. However, I am in the process of changing my antidepressant and am experiencing some depression.

I am so glad that this surgery has brought much needed relief for many of you.
I hope your endo doesn't come back.

I also had everything removed and I am very happy with my decision. Although I had one ovary that was in good shape I had everything removed. I am only 30 so everyone thought I was too young for this surgery. (except my family, me and my doc). It was explained to me by my doc that endo can be very dangerous. The disease doesn't give up. It just keeps attacking when it gets enough estrogen. Please try to remember who dangerous this disease could have been if you had kept the ovary. I think you made the right choice for your health and future! I know I did!
