Sorry I haven't posted

I had my LAH on March 20th. I am feeling pretty good, but I have some questions that maybe some of you can help me with.

My doctor took my cervix too..is that normal? When I asked about it ( after the surgery at the hospital) he said that it is required if doing a LAH...is this true?

I have has some faint red on the TP when I use the restroom...why would this happen?

I still have some pain....tugging almost..arghh, anyone else have this?

Also, my postop appt isn't until April 24...that is crazy, right???

Also...they have me on estradol, 1mg..but I am still having hotflashes..when can I see a endocrinologist?

Thank you for any help you can give...you are all so wonderful !!

Sorry I haven't posted

I think the post op "spotting" is normal. I have had a day or two of spotting then nothing then back to spotting again. nothing too heavy, but just getting annoying.

I don't have my next post-op appt. till May 3rd. So, I don't know how out of line that is.

and that's all I know about that.... sorry I don't have any other advice.

Hi KTChess,
I had a TVH and the way my Doc explained it is they have to go through the cervix to get to the uterus so they take it out to. Not sure on your type of surgery though mine was all done through the vagina. I had spotting on and off for 5 weeks nothing to major though. My first post op app. was at 6 weeks and was cleared for normal activity after that. I have my ovaries so not sure about that question on estradol.
Hope this helps you some. Take care
