Weird crampy aching 2 months post op

Hello there, thank you all so much for all of the advice and reassurance I have gotten from this site.
My surgery was April 18, 2012. I am 36, and unfortunately was not able to have children. I still have both ovaries. Before surgery I had some aching in my ovaries and my uterus (2 fibroids, one cantaloupe sized, one bookbag sized). Had my surgery, everything seemed ok. At my 6 wk post op, my doctor (who is ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL) said that my vaginal cuff stiches were still there; I assume this means that the ones in my abdomen are too. I am having some occassional copious thin, watery discharge; this I am not too worried about. I am having some weird crampiness where my uterus used to be, and my ovaries are aching like they used to. Is this my cycle trying to still go? Of course, I have the kind of brain that immediately decides that I have cancer. My doc said that my ovaries looked "beautiful" during my surgery, so I am using that to comfort myself. Anyone else with the aching in their abdomen? Thank you again, all of you, for your help.

I kept one of my ovaries. My doctor explained that you will still get PMS symptoms if you still have your ovaries.

Re: Weird crampy aching 2 months post op

I am cranky and feel a tad emotional today...I think it is ovulation...it seems weird but at two weeks post surgery the same thing with two weeks later my first period...at first I was angry that I got the mini periods, but it wasn't more than spotting.
