Re: Pain

Pain meds aren't helping? The pain would normally be starting to subside by now, you mentioned the incision area is swollen, could it be infected? Have you talked to your dr? If not, call and explain exactly what is going on, they should be able to help

Re: Pain

I went to the doctor on Saturday to have my staples removed. He said it (my incision) looks great. He did order a urinalysis which i got done today.

My meds work but i feel like I'm taking them too often.

Hi! I had my hysterectomy on June 15 too. I have a little pain inside but am able to do light housework and drive, etc. I had a checkup today and incision looks and feels good. It :new:sounds like your incision might be infected. You ought to call your doctor. It seems you should be feeling a bit better by now. Good luck...you'll get there.

Are you taking them as often as the prescription says to? If so, that's not too often.

Also, have you tried heating pads?
