LSH Question

Thanks for you response GenGitty. That makes a lot of sense. I have to admit, when I have surgery, that the intubation part really scares me. I assume the average person doesn't wake up until it is out, but I just fear waking up and having that tube down my throat. I would completely freak out. However, the thought of that big needle in my back doesn't thrill me any more than the tube.

I guess it's normal to worry about these things, but I wish I were the type that didn't get such anxiety over it all.

Thanks again!

LSH Question

Thanks everyone! I had no idea you had to be intubated. I will discuss this with my Dr on the 31st. Thanks again!

LSH Question

Hi Love2Quilt,

Thank you for your response. I like the idea of listing the pros and
cons. I do think I will need another consult with my doctor. If she
thinks for one minute that the bladder and bowel issues could have a
link to adhesions, I almost feel I owe it to myself to have it done for
those reasons, if not the bleeding issues.

To me it makes sense that after 3 c-sections, that I would have some
adhesions. My surgery date isn't until July 12th, so fortunately I do
have time to learn from the hyster sisters (which I am sooooo thrilled
to have stumbled on!) and to have a consult with my OB/Gyn and GP
doctors. Since I did have the 3 previous surgeries I remember too well
the recovery process and if they could fix me without having to do a
traditional abdominal cut, I'd be one happy gal!
