Needing some encouragement!

Hi everyone I am in wk 10 of post-op and still feeling pretty crappy....I am experiencing all the PMS symptoms I had before...even the heavy cramping.... My emotions are all over the place.. I thought if I kept my ovaries and got rid of my uterus all my prayers would be answered..NOT...is anyone else still experiencing these problems... I felt great at wk 4 until wk 7.... what has happened... Desperate for some answers...

I'm sorry that you are not feeling any better, I would not settle for h well, it didn't work and I will always feel crappy: call your doctor and tell him how you are feeling and explain that this is not acceptable to you and see what he suggests! Be your own advocate and don't stop until you feel better, but whatever you do don't accept feeling crappy as the way it will be - you didn't undergo a major operation to remain in the same pain you were in prior to your castle visit.

Good luck - choose to feel better and don't stop until you get there!!

I agree 100% with Pyung Ahn. Contact your doctor and if he/she is no help, find another to assist with your care. Do not accept "that is normal" it is not

As you have kept your ovaries (which I did as well) you can still experience PMS--or PNS, pre nothing syndrome--when your ovaries cycle. If the symptoms are unbearable, your dr may prescribe b/c to help you. Do call your dr and discuss how you are feeling. in there!
