Strange Dreams!!!!!!

Just a question. I have been having the strangest most vivid dreams I have ever had and I had some weird ones B4 surgery. Just wondering if its the pain meds or what? Not really nightmares but so STRANGE!!!!! Will it go away after I get off these painkillers. Im not on any hormone therapy just painkillers. And I wake-up sweating. No fever. Alittle afraid to go to sleep here. Going alittle crazy !! Let me know if Im not the only one please.

Strange Dreams!!!!!!

Nope, you're definitely not the only one

I had exactly the same going on for a while afterwards. I'd wake up soaked with sweat after some very strange, and vivid, dreams. Or one or the other.

I don't know whether it's the meds or the hormones, but i've seen a few women mention it.

It will get better soon, I promise!

Strange Dreams!!!!!!

I also had very weird dreams. They got better after I stopped my Vicodin.
I think my anaesthesia may have caused some of my dreams.
I tried Ambien to sleep and that helped with the pain and dreams.

Strange Dreams!!!!!!

Narcotics are pretty scary. I was on oxycodone and had very weird dreams. i also had hallucinations and severe itching. i could not get off it fast enough. i tried tylenol 3, which made me nauseated. I don't have any difficulty with vicodin. it takes a few days for the dreams to stop.
