Got my date, *now* I'm scared!

I'm keeping so busy I don't have time to think about "the day" right now. I have Christmas shopping, Thanksgiving planning, play dates to arrange, etc. Done most of my deep cleaning already.

Keep thinking positive, it will get you through this!!

BTW, did your castle date change? I thought we were both set for 11/20?

I have a couple things to add to the happy list...

-no more scoping out where the nearest bathroom is at every outing

-no more loading up the cart at Costco with 80-count boxes of tampons...THREE boxes at a time!

-no more checking the toilet paper every time you wipe (although I suspect that will be a hard habit to break)

-no more buying 'jumbo' size purses just so I can have enough room for tampons if I leave the house for a day!

-the very best...NO MORE PAIN! WOO HOOOOOO!

Here is something that my every 14 days, heavy periods stopped me from doing that I have been looking forward to doing again when I am fully recovered: Donating blood again!!

I used to be so happy to be able to do this one small thing that can help so many people, and it was very easy for me as I have really big veins, and universal donor blood type. However, as my periods started getting closer together and heavier, I was getting borderline anemaic, and one day I had gone in to give blood about a week after a really bad heavy period had ended(I did not think about the poss anemia, just went in b/c they had bloodmobile nearby and making requests), and she said I was on the border low, but when I said I had had heavy period, she said ok that's why, and then let me give. (I know, I was dumb!) Unfortunately I was astounded, and dismayed when I got my period again 3 days after giving the blood, and it was doozy too. I ended up suffering effects from blood loss and it took a long time to recover. That was the end of my blood-giving days....untill NOW!!
