Another silly question I thought of...
One more question as my time grows near. I use one of the heating bags that go in the microwave to control my pelvic pain. They are a bit heavy. Am I going to have trouble post-op because of the weight? I am scheduled for Lap, but the possibility of abdominal incision is there. Would an electric heating pad be a good investment? I really like my nuke-able pillow because it forms to my body. thanks in advance!

I have the same thing and I'm planning to use it after as well. It's quite portable (no cords) and no risk of burning me if I doze off since it will just cool off. My dd or dh can heat it up for me whenever, etc.

I've one of those myself. I hadn't thought about the weight, since it's such a comfort to me right now. Hmm!

Another silly question I thought of...
For me, ice felt better for the little swelly belly I had... but the microwave heated buckwheat pillow I had was great on my arm where the IV was!

I found that just laying down helps my swelly belly. I never used heat or anything on mine. After awhile of laying down it felt better. You will find what works best for you.
Good luck with your surgery. Waiting is the hardest part!!
