Looking for August sisters

I am scheduled for a TVH/rectocele repair on the 14 of August because of uterine prolapse and was wondering who else will be getting there crown during that month? And could I also have a twin out there on the same date as me? Looking forward to metting the August LIW. Take care

My pre-op is the 14th and my surgery is the 16th of August! Pretty close huh!! Can't wait to get that crown!!!!!!

I have just checked the August Calendar and there is at least 24 of us LIW scheduled for surgery that month. The difficulty is you are signed in with your e-mail address's but that does not let me know your user name here at hystersisters.

My surgery is scheduled for August 21.

My pre-op with my Primary Care Physician is 7/11/01 (bloodwork after 7/21/01). I am also seeing a plastic surgeon 7/31/01 for a eval re: a panniculectomy due to my being very, very overweight. (Too much too little !!)

I figure I have time for at least three good emotional meltdowns... I will plan well for them!

Scheduling nurse called me this morning, and my reservations are for August 14, 7am. They also have me on a short call list incase they have a cancellation that would allow me to get in sooner.

Yeah!! the Aug sisterhyster club

I too am an August princess. Aug. 23rd. Sometime's too far away sometimes too close. I'm having a LAVH, due to alot of unexplained pelvic pain and due to the fact my uterus has a mind of it's own and released hormones and periods at will(even though I am on bc). What's your stories and are you ready? or apprehensive? I think the apprehensive poll would win.

Hello august sisters,

I think I'm feeling alot better about my surgery now. I'm more and more convinced. Also made a decision to keep one ovary instead of dicarding both. Now I have to let my dr. in on it. It's kinda nice to know we have alot of time to prepare huh? I have four kids to prepare for school. How about all of you?
