Legs, ankles and feet swelling after hysterectomy
Has anyone else had a problem with swelling?
I had a LAVH with bilateral salpingo oophorectomy. I did have some serious complications. I figure I have swelling from all the IV fluids and the blood transfusions, but I was swelling like I did toward the end of pregnancy. My legs were literally tree trunks and all one size. You couldn't see my knees or ankles and my toes turned purple. It gone now, except for my right foot. Still looks like it belongs on the Incredible Hulk.
Elevating does NOT help. Any other ideas or tricks to get this bad boy to go down? I can't get any kind of shoe on. Not even a flip flop. -____-
