Things to do after

I am a very active person. I know I will be stir crazy after a few days of being home. Although I know I will be tired and dealing with pain I have been trying to think of things to do to stay occupied so I behave myself. I've got puzzles, movies, books and jewelry making stuff. What are you going to be doing to keep your sanity?

I bought a box of thank you cards and had stamps ready so I could send them. I had several dinners brought to my family and I wanted to be able to write them a thank you. I knew if I didn't get it done in recovery I would get busy again and forget. One gal posted that she did her Christmas cards!

I thought I would be stir crazy too. I am 1 week post op and only now am getting a little antzy. I was to tired to really care and due to anesthetia and pain killers I could not really concentrate.

I'm scheduled for surgery on the 31st and to prepare I've picked up some new DVDs (on sale of course) made sure my netflix acct is up to date, loaded the Nook with new reads and stock piled magazines. I also plan on doing all my Christmas shopping online this year.

How about doing something with digital photos? I have hundreds to sort out, and I know I will feel good for doing it! X

Im scheduled on oct 10th and have four kids. I picked up lots of scrapbook items to catch up on the kids books. ( the last two kids whose books are really bare.)
After I had surgery last year for an open hernia repair, I sewed canvas bags. I have these all over my house and passed them out to friends and family. LOL!
