symptoms please help

I woke up not feeling well today. It may just be the flu, but I was wondering if anyone else experienced these symptoms due to their fibroids. I have one small fibroid 3cm at the front of my uterus. I feel nausea, diarrhea, feel like throwing up, and every little thing I try to do I get very exhausted and sweat up a storm. I cant hardly do any thing right now.

Re: symptoms please help

Thank you for letting me know I am not alone or crazy. I have had more fibroids, and cysts on my ovaries. Doctor did a surgery removed one ovary, and cleaned out my uterus of other cysts but could not get this last one. I begged him before my surgery to take my uterus but he refused. He said he will listen to me next time and take my uterus. I have an appt. on the 20th. I do remember before my surgery I did feel sick a lot, I just wasnt sure if just one little fibroid could cause me same symptoms. I am keeping a journal to let the doctor know I need my uterus out. I am trying to cook supper but it so hard at times.

Re: symptoms please help

Hi- I was glad to read your post. I thought I was loosing it over here! Last night I had bad cramps and flu-like symptoms. Today I went to church, did some laundry and shopping and had to take a nap! Two hour nap!!! I called my mom and she said, "You are in pain, your body gets tired. Just think, soon you will have the surgery and it is all up hill from here." I am just giving into it all and relieved surgery is on Friday. I have fibroids and one is in the uterine cavity. Oh, and for dinner tonight, I made a frozen meal, which I never do!!!! TIRED! soon all will be better for us all.

Re: symptoms please help

Am so glad you found a doctor that will help you. Hopefully he wont do a half hacked job like he did on me. He took all my cysts, along with my right ovary, most my fibroids but begged for my apology because left a fibroid in. Now I am begging him to finish the job and just take my uterus out. He already said he would take my uterus out next time, well I am begging him right now is the next time. I pray we all get the healing and answers that we need to feel better.

Re: symptoms please help

Well, I hope mine is not a hack. He teaches DaVinci at Yale and went to Yale. He will be taking my uterus and cervix and is planning on leaving both ovaries. There, hopefully, will not be a next time. You never know though. When they get in there they have split decisions to make. Sorry you have had such a time of it. Where do you live?

Re: symptoms please help

My doctor is about ready to retire, and the research I have done on him most people like him. He seems to get all the tough cases, and he comes off as caring and understanding. I living Oregon, part of my problem is that I am on disability so that means government insurance that does not pay the doctors enough, and the government decides what procedures the doctors can do, and not do. So in a way I understand, he has to make sure that the insurance will pay for the procedure in the first place. That is why I am keeping a journal on my symptoms so he can make a strong case for taking my uterus.
