There shuting his department down. I'm worried about my surgery, plus know this stress. What else could happen. I need support.

I'm a wreck

First thing first, we have to take care of ourselves before we can really take care of others. I know how stressful it can be having to worry about jobs! My DH has a very iffy job at the moment. I have even put my surgery off in the past due to that. I finally figured out, or talked myself into believing, things have a way of working out. We have gone jobless in the past and it does seem to work out in the end. I always try to keep him busy and keep reassuring him how imoprtant he is with or without a job. I think most men feel that their job defines some sort of definition of manhood. Keep your head up and heart open, and I really wish the best to you and yours. God bless.

I'm a wreck

Hi! I am new to the website as well and your message caught my eye. I know I am not the only one with stresses and surgery looming. My husbands restaurant where he is employed will be closing in June, he is being laid off. My surgery is scheduled for May 12th. I keep telling myself just have faith and all will work out, everything happens for a reason. Good luck to you both, I'll be here rooting for you.

I agree - you need to focus and take care of yourself. Keep in mind that all the energy you put into worrying and being scared is energy you could be putting into something else. I don't mean to be trite - just take it from a Wise Woman who has learned the hard way over many years. Life has a way of working out. You just do your best and you will be fine.
