Back to Work

Hi Girls,

I'm sore and I'm tired, but it's time to go back to work in a week*S*

I need to go back....emotionally I think I need to get back to the norm*S* Just have to cope with the physical side*S* By the time I go back I'll have had 12 weeks off due to a slow recovery.

Girls....listen to your bodies and don't overdo. It takes time to get over a hysterectomy, some will be fast and some slow, just let your bodies heal at their own pace and don't do anything your body isn't ready to and listen to your doctors instructions, you only get one chance to heal.

You're all a wonderful group of women, giving encouragement and support, sharing laughter and tears*hugs*

Back to Work

Best wishes, Lynney, with the return to work. There is so much to be said for getting back to our normal schedules. You did a great job reminding us to take care but please keep that in mind as you get back in the groove of work. Take a few extra breaks, roll your feet around on a soda can under your desk, do all those little nice things that will help you body not revolt! Best wishes ~

Back to Work

Good luck, Lynney, when you return to work. I'm not looking forward to the chaos in the office when Ireturn to my job as a budget analyst in a medical clinic. Doc has not cleared me yet, and I still don't feel strong enough to sit at the desk. Please take it nice and slow (I will do the same). I think I started doing too much too soon, and now my body is telling me to chill out. Best of luck.

Lynnee,
Take it slow, when there is something you ABSOLUTLEY know is neccisary, just remember the things you told your brain before....for example, I remember when I had to leave the hospital bed, knowing I was in for a long awful car ride, knowing I had to get everything together, knowing I wouldn't let anyone help (even if they did offer)....FOCUS FOCUS FOCUS, it will be done, then it will be OK to let yourself rest.
Quote someone read to me, that I found comforting, but dont remember much of....

You are the light of the world
like a city on a hilltop that can not be hidden. No one lights a lamp and then puts it under a basket. Instead, a lamp is placed on a stand, where it gives light to everyone in the house.
In the same way, let YOUR good deeds shine out for all to see, so that everyone will praise your heavenly Father. Matthew 5:14
That my dear kept me going while unconcious, and I am sure it is keeping me going now! Dont often share biblical, but thought you will like this Bless and comfort you.
