What kind of discharge is normal long term post op?

I'm hoping someone on this site will be more helpful than my gyno!
I'm almost 5 months post TLH, kept ovaries, so yes I'm still ovulating... I have completely healed from my surgery per my dr, cuff looks great, no granulation tissue, etc... I stopped having any bleeding and spotting a LONG time ago. However for about a month an a half now I have noticed that I have more vaginal discharge than I did before my surgery. I know some discharge is perfectly fine, but why more now? I have been to my Gyno to rule out yeast infection, regular infection and everything else. I was told I'm fine and that its probably related to ovulating. Well I'm extremly annoyed with having to wear a panty liner and have kept track of when I have this discharge(it's not every day) It does not seem to be on any sort of cycle! UGH it just happens randomly! Very pale yellow orodless non itching discharge... Sorry for the TMI My question is, is it a part of the healing process? Am I stuck with it for life now? Please share your discharge stories with me, because I'm going crazy here!

I am not going to be much help, but it is happening to me, too! I still don't know how or why... It would seem that if you have a cuff, then it should not be related to ovulating, should it? Pardon my ignorance, but isn't that sewn shut? Where is the discharge coming from??? << I'm lost, too

choices - you are still in the post-op period, so yours could be due to your stiches dissolving!

minajensen- I am curious about long term discharge as well. I had excessive amounts pre-op so am hoping to not have that problem post-op as well!

And discharge comes from the vaginal wall,s not just the cervix!

Re: What kind of discharge is normal long term post op?

Thanks for your replies! My dr was looking at me like I'm crazy last time i saw him and brought it up! He said there is no such thing as a set amount of what's considered normal or excessive discharge! That it's different with each woman... Well yeah hello I'm not a complete moron! All I'm complaining about is that this is excessive for ME! Ugh and ugh again... I actually called him again today( it's been about 5 weeks since my last visit) and told him I didn't really care why this is happening anymore, that I just want him to try and make it go away. So I have an appointment Wednesday , we'll see what happens, but I'm not leaving his office without some kind of solution...
