Pre-Op Done - Only 36 hours to go!

Oh goodness. I just realized I'm only 36 hours out! It's all going so fast I feel like I'm strapped to a comet!

Had my pre-op today. I get to keep my pink and white acrylics, there's no bowel prep required (but I can do one if I want to) and they're letting me take one of my own clonazepam tablets before going to the castle on Thursday to keep from freaking out. I'm impressed with how organized and effortless the process was.

I've been trying to decide what to do with all my leftover super and super+ tampons. I'm thinking of making them into Christmas ornaments. Or maybe little ghost ornaments for next Halloween...

Hubby's doing ok with the superfast timeline. He'd warned his boss that I'd be having a hyst sometime this month and that there might not be much notice. He's also an upper level exec so he's got a lot of flexibility and vacay time available.

Although I had to laugh tonight when I watched the lightbulb come on when he realized i was going to be in the hospital overnight!

A local women's shelter or other benevolence type ministry would be glad to take them off your hands, I am certain. I know if you were here, we could use them in our food closet because we also provide toiletries.

Best wishes. Praying for an uneventful procedure and quick healing.

Re: Pre-Op Done - Only 36 hours to go!

I just realized I'm 16 days away myself! Please update when you can so we'll know how you're doing. I'm sure you're going to have a great recovery. You have a great mindset, which is half the battle of recovery!

Best wishes to you!
