Stairs...yay or nay

I've been going up and down our 13 stairs ever since day 1. Verrryyy slowly at first, and now (day 6) they are no problem. Still slow and steady, though. Listen to your body. :-)

Stairs are OK, and some activity really is good for you. Just, like everyone else says, go slow. Hold the railing.

I inadvertently did something like 300 stairs in a few hours at 3 1/2 weeks post op. Went on a day excursion with my nephew and didn't think about it and didn't realize ahead of time there were that many stairs involved. We also probably walked a couple miles that day. I was slow moving and a little sore but it didn't do any damage.
