LAVH Dry cough- 1 week later

Did anyone experience a scratchy throat and an annoying dry cough after surgery? I am in recovery for one week today and am still experiencing it. Everything else seems to be healing nicely, except some light spotting. I am very careful to relax and try not to overdo it. God bless, my friends, and speedy recovery.

My doctor gave me a breathing thing to take home. I was to do it several times a day. I would suggest giving your doctor a call if the cough is not improving.

I did! It is very annoying. I was told it was from tube in throat during surgery. Hot tea feels good. Mine lasted about three weeks.
