3 weeks post hysterectomy and feeling weak

Hi all, I had uterus and left ovary removed on 5th January. I was septic after op and stayed in hospital for 9 days on IV Antibiotics. Last week went back to GP as my wound was leaky in one small bit and got more antibiotics for wound infection. I am still getting hot clammy episodes where I need to lay down straight away, and feel really weak. I feel weaker than I did in hospital and not managing to walk around or sit in a chair like I was in hospital. I don't know whether to go back to GP or push through to get myself a bit more active.

So sorry for your experience. Your body has been through a lot, give it time to heal. Stay hydrated and for sure see your doctor immediately if you start running a temp.
