A HysterHubby Award?

Hiya girls

While I've been going through this stress and nervousness, my husband has been an absolute rock. He's been like my third arm - just amazing. With this in mind...I thought I'd make him a certificate for being a super HysterHubby! It's got a nice crown at the top (to match mine!), and lists all the great things that he does...he's the Master of Massage, the King of Kindness, the Earl of Early Morning Coffee...you get the idea

It's kind of corny, I know...but we're kind of in this together...and I think it might help him realise that I DO appreciate what he's doing for me...it also drums it home that he too is entitled to be afraid, nervous and scared of what's going to happen.

Anyway..I just wanted to share this little idea, that you might want to do for your dear partners.

Hope everyone is find and dandy, and not overstressing!

s

Great idea

Tess,

What a great idea! My dh was also wonderful, both before and after my surgery. I really tried to come up with some sort of thank you for him, but he won't hear of it.

I finally realized that telling others how wonderful he has been is a gift in itself. He has overheard me telling friends, family, co-workers and church friends about how loving he has been.

This surgery has really brought us closer together, as I never needed such care before. It was an opportunity for him to show his love and for me to see proof of it.

It sounds like you got a good one, too. Hang on to him.

Nancy
