Still have Spotting and pain 1 Year

It's almost been 1 year and I have spotted almost ever month I have no cervix and I have pain for about 7-10 day after do still have ovaries. I went to the dr the one who did the hysterectomy 3or4 months ago. He couldn't see anything to cause it. I was just wanted to know if anyone has/had this or has any ideas what it would be. I just hate to go back.

Re: Still have Spotting and pain 1 Year

I am sorry you are continuing to have issues following your hysterectomy.

Are you keeping a journal detailing your symptoms? The more specific details you can share with your doctor(s), the better!

I would suggest returning to your doctor and/or seeking a second opinion. Possibly you are having issues with your vaginal cuff. Maybe some how there is a bit of cervix that was missed and it is shedding. Are you having hormonal issues such as your ovaries are not working well and causing some issues?

Be persistent and keeping talking to your medical team about what you are experiencing until you get some answers!

Re: Still have Spotting and pain 1 Year

Thank you Weiser.

I do write down when I spot .The Dr said the cuff looks great. I did have cyst on both ovaries 3 months after hysterectomy. When I went to see Dr he did a biopsy on something he didn't notice before (9 yr scar from episiotomy) it came back okay.I had only been going to him for 1 yr. When I told him I have cramps he told me I don't have a uterus so I can't have cramps. So I know say "It's pain or pressure" I do think sometime maybe I will call Dr bu don't want to bother them.
