burning incisions

I have 5 incisions and on my left side I have a deep puncture one across from my belly button if I'm up or even sitting up it starts to burn. Plus I have red circle areas around all 5 incisions a little worried but see doctor in the morning.

Have you tried ice packs at all? Also, rest, rest, rest and then rest some more -- no one says you have to be upright long yet. Glad you are going to the doctor. Be sure to ask lots of questions and don't worry about how much time answering your questions takes - you need the re-assurance and the peace of mind to heal well. Remember the times you've waited for a doc whose appoints have gotten off track -- it is okay to be the patient who takes more time! Please do let us know what you hear.
