Swelly belly bands for big girls?

Hiya,

I recently had an abdominal hysterectomy (10-inch scar). I would love something to help hold in my belly to help me move & sleep better. I'm a big girl (~290 lbs). Are there bands in my size (size 24/26)? I can't be the only big girl who has had a hysterectomy!

Did you check out the Swelly Belly/Abdominal Bands at the Hystersisters store? It shows the measurements for each size. Perhaps there is one that would be comfortable for you. I sure loved having something for support during those first weeks!

I did not order a swelly band; rather, I'm using a panty girdle. I'm finding that the girdle comes up over my incision (10-inch vertical thru my belly button), holds everything in, and gives me very good support...

I'm a fairly big girl too, Ouchie (245 lbs., size 20-22), and I have control panties that help -- not a girdle or anything like that, just panties with a bit of control to them. Good thing, because the Hyster Sisters store doesn't ship to Israel where I live... which is sad, because I had a look and they seem to have really neat products!

I just looked at the swelly belly band and the Queen Size one is good up to 58" hips. Then I looked at the size chart on one of the online sites where I buy clothes, and it says that 58" hips is a size 30-32!! So if you're a 24-26, go for it!

Flexees have a control panty in large sizes. I wear a 26/28 in pants, and my Flexees size is 8x if I remember right. They are wonderful to keep my belly from jiggling, esp. when I am driving or riding in the car!
