Spider Veins

Hi Ladies

I have noticed today that Spider Veins that are branch like have suddenly appeared just under my right ribs, spreading down onto my abdomen. Has anyone else experienced this? Or know why this would be?

I don't know why it is, but for several weeks after surgery I had them in my upper thighs, coming down from my hips/pelvis. Anyone know what causes these? Curious.
