Hysterectomy: August 23rd, 2013

Surgery Type: TVH

Ovaries: Kept 1 or both

Increased bleeding 2 weeks post-op

I was wondering if anyone else experienced increased bleeding at 2 week post-op? (TVH -removed uterus and cervix) I called my dr office and the nurse said this was unusual and I must have over done it. The heavier bleeding lasted 4-5 days, then started to decrease yesterday and am having less today.

Has anyone else had this happen? I'm also wondering how long you bleed/spot after surgery?
