wondering about mini periods with cervix kept

Hi

I kept my cervix and my ovaries ... obviously, mini-periods are only possible if the ovaries are kept.

Every month I have a mini-period, as well as the old PMS. Mini-periods are exactly that ... 'mini'! Extremely mini in fact! Just spotting for 24-48 hours, requiring the tiniest of panty liners. In fact, during my mini-period, I have no trouble at all in wearing g-strings/thongs and pale pants!

If you do a 'search', I think you'll find dozens of posts about mini-periods.

Wishing you all the very best for November 28th.

I think your decision might hinge somewhat on your tolerance of blood. I've had horrible heavy periods for my whole life, but they got even worse in recent years due to my fibroid, I guess. I had so much flooding and huge clots and became chronically anemic which has been so miserable to me.

Because of my severe uterine prolapse, I had no choice but to have my entire uterus with cervix removed, but even if I'd had the choice, I think I would have still gotten rid of my cervix. Basically I am just sick of bleeding! I began to see each drop as a symbol of my life and energy draining away. I would not want to have to keep mini-pads in my purse, just in case a mini-period started. But that's just me. I probably have more than the usual hatred of bleeding than most people do.

Thank you 's much. This site has been a true blessing to me and I am thankful to God for each and everyone one of you. Ferrin, I'm with you, I don't want to have to carry around another pad, pantyliner or tampon every again and I am looking forward to a life without bleeding. Best wishes to everyone.
