lower back pain

I have been having lower back pains when I get out of bed. Sometimes I sleep on my back and I notice the last two days that when I get out of bed my lower back hurts so much like it is really stiff, but once I get up and move it is fine. Is this normal two weeks after a robotic hysterectomy.

You could be some backaches from the changes in your activity level, positioning during recovery, sleeping a bit differently to protect the healing areas, etc. If the pain is not tolerable, touch base with your doctor. If you also have a fever, you could have a UTI.

I was just reading the post op checklist timeline for post op 2-3 weeks and that is on the list. Hopefully u will move thru it quickly. Hang in there!
