Hey California! New pjs for hot flashes
Just saw on TV this morning that they have new pjs for hot flashes (about $50) which keeps the sweating away from the body. Only in California so far. (It was a quicky tv flash so I don't have any more information than that.)
I use cotton t-shirt night gowns in the summer. I keep two at the foot of the bed and change off when I wake up sweating. (Just a tip from a menapausal madam.) Sometimes I wake up in a different gown than when I went to bed and don't even remember waking up and changing!

Hey California! New pjs for hot flashes
Please let us know if you get any more info on those pj's for hot flashes! I've had horrible night sweats the past 2 nights. Last night, I took of my pj top and put on a cotton t-shirt. I can't stand it!!

Hey California! New pjs for hot flashes
That is my only side effect.....and it's a killer! I sleep in a tank top and still have problems waking up soaked. More info on the pj would be helpful.

Hey California! New pjs for hot flashes
I've been taking Soy tablets and flax seed tablets for about a month now. (A Sister recommend them). And my night sweats haven't been as bad. (I usually wake up in the same sleep shirt!)

Hey California! New pjs for hot flashes
Hi Sisters!
If you do a search on Google.com and type in "menopause + pajamas" you'll come up with some sites where you can learn more about the pjs and how to order them.
Here's to a good night of sleep!

Hi,
I went to Google and typed in hot flash pajamas and there are quite a few links.
Thanks for the idea!

Hey California! New pjs for hot flashes
A quick thought, what about the "tshirts" that are made for sports? They are a light, silky material that act as a wick and pull the moisture away from your body. They have shorts, tanks, t's, long sleeved shirts, etc. My DS wears them for football to keep dry under his uniform because he sweats so much (runners wear them too)

You can find sleepwear made of this material by doing a GOOGLE search and typing in either menowear or wicking sleepwear. You'll find lots of sites that sell this nightwear.

Hey California! New pjs for hot flashes
I have been taking Healthy Woman for 2 months, and the night sweats have been gone since my 3rd wk taking it
Good luck ladies...being is not fun. I keep my house cold, and keep a fan blowing on me at my desk when I am working!

I found DS's on clearance at Walmart for $3.00 each piece. Some were only $1.00. They aren't "sleepwear" really but they are a lot less expensive.
