Has anyone else had this pain and if so how do I stop it

I had my surgery 3 days ago now. When I was leaving the hospital in the wheelchair I noticed I started having a strange throbbing pain on the sides of my neck right where the blood flow is. I blew it off but now I've been at home for almost 24 hrs and it's still there. It's like a pulsing throbbing pain that is only in
My neck. I have no throat pain at all. Anyone know what this is. It really hurts bad!!
