Vibrating feeling...cell phone inside?

I do not own a vibrating cell phone, so no, there was something else going on for me. From time to time I would get a vibration high up in my vagina, or my bladder, or maybe the uterus. Mine was more like a cat's purr or fizzy air bubbles. This would happen from time to time, not real often, and when I would notice it it would be for a few hours, on and off. I am clueless as to what it was. I have not really experienced this since my TAH. I hate to say it, but, I was thinking maybe I was feeling/sensing something growing in there like my fibroids, or perhaps my cancer? WHatever this was, it was for real. It put my radar up, but, I never mentioned it to anyone and didn't read about anyone else experiencing it until now. Interesting none the less.

Vibrating feeling...cell phone inside?

I'm thinking it may be a vein that is close to a nerve. The whooshing feeling is the blood passing by the nerve. The bigger my uterus got the more I could feel it, almost a pulsing buzz. It's gone now since surgery, pretty wierd but good to know we're not alone!

Vibrating feeling...cell phone inside?

I am so happy to read that others have experienced this sensation too. My vibrating just started a couple of days ago. I was throughly terrified. I thought it was a sign of multiple sclerosis, palsy, or cancer. The vibrating is mainly in my vaginal area. It feels as if I am sitting on a vibrating cell phone. I had a hysterectomy, however that was over 16 years ago. I don't know why this affliction surfaced now. But thank you, thank you, thank you all for being there and sharing your stories. The SavedbyGrace poster was right. How did we ever function without the internet.

Have a wonderful holiday season.

I can't believe someone else has this! While I haven't had it since my LHS/BSO, I was experieincing it prior to surgery frequently in my right lower portion of the abdomen. I thought I was going nuts...nice to know I am not the only one who has this issue!

I had that after my epiesiotomy, I remember trying to tell my dr about it and got the feeling he thought it was a sexual thing, it isn't.. just a strange sensation. I have had it as well since my LAVH + repairs, and continue to believe it has to do with tissue and nerve regeneration.
