AussieP.I.W. just got home yesterday.Going great!

Hi there sisters.
I got home yesterday from my TVH (kept ovaries). Op went well and I only stayed in hospital 3 nights. Staff were great and looked after me well. They loved that I bought them sweets! Nurses like to be actively appreciated, they work so hard!
I'm going to post my story in hyst stories later, maybe tomorrow, have to lay down again soon!
I took lots of stuff with me, and didn't use a lot of it.
2 books + some magazines. Could barely concentrate on the mags, took a whole day to read one. Didn't get anywhere near the books.
The TV was my friend, watched the good programs and snoozed in front of the others.
With an epidural pca I didn't get out of a gown until it was out, on the third morning. Kept my hospital pressure stockings on until I got a shower the same day. So I didn't get into all the PJ's I took either. Only needed one set of undies. They provided pads but take panty liners.
I didn't take cosmetics and only once got some lotion out. Lip balm is your friend.
I have straight hair, I washed it the night before I went and put only a very little de-frizz in it. That shampoo lasted 4 days without feeling icky.

Thats all I can think of now. Best of luck to future Princesses. Time for a pamper snooze.
