Second opinion in a few days... need suggestions

I had such a nice response the first time I posted here, so I'm back.

Recap: I'm 29, large fibroids (approx 14 wks), no children. I have a second opinion coming up in a few days, and I'm trying to make up a list of questions/issues I'd like to address. I know there are a few that are extremely important, like how having lupus will affect surgery and recovery. I know that I should ask about surgery experience (even though I've looked him up online). Type of surgery is also important-- the first OB/GYN I saw recommended LAVH. (I liked her, but she's less experienced than the guy I'm seeing this week.) I also wonder how soon I'll be able to schedule a surgery. My summer is packed with school-related stuff, so if I could get it out of the way... They both have privileges at the same hospital, which is an women's health hospital-- so that's not an issue. I'm going to bring a copy of my ultrasound report so I won't have to go through another one (ugh). And... list of symptoms (of which there are many).

So, am I missing anything else? I haven't been this nervous since I saw my rheumatologist for the first time.

PS- If I decide to go with a different surgeon, is it awkward to go back to the first practice? How do you decide? I wonder about that.
