pain, short vagina

I am one year past total hysterectomy and have had pain during intercourse ever since. I went back to the gyn today and he is going to perform exploratory surgery (laproscopically) on 2/19 to see if there is scar tissue/lesions/something else wrong. I'm relieved to know I'm not the only one with problems. I sometimes avoid sex, but usually just have it to keep hubby happy - even when it hurts. Hopefully, the surgery will find the problem and I can move on. Keep your fingers crossed!

oh god i am so glad to hear someone else is having the same problem,i was concerned because after 1and1/2 yrs i am in a relationship that is about to become sexual and i also have the very small opening and was shortened to about 4 to 5 inches and i am scare to death to even think about any kind of relationship
