Pain while sexually aroused?

I am 9 weeks post op. Got to keep my ovaries (yay!). My six week post op appointment was not great, still needed to heal some. Went back at 8 weeks and was healed. She also gave me some silver nitrate (owwww!) and now my discharge is gone.

My sex drive has been gone for almost 4 years up to this. Now it is back but I am worried because as feel aroused for more than a few minutes things get sore down there. Is this a normal part of the "still healing" process? I am a slow healer as I bruise easily.

Just wondering if anyone else has this problem. I'm ready to jump my hubby when he gets home but I don't want to have painful sex...I am so done with that!

I felt some discomfort down there when I was aroused at all for probably the first 3 months or so after my TVH. Even now, at 6 months, it will occasionally ache during or after sex. If you're worried though, check with your Dr. Good Luck!

Ugh...while it's good to know that it happens....that dream of being back to normal after is such a drag.
