Nervous but Considering Tummy Tuck AND Hysterectomy

Hello My Hyster Family-
I have know about my fibroids for years but there was no heavy bleeding or pain. Until my stomach was getting bigger and bigger. Found out they have gotten so big they r on my kidney. I have went to 3 doctors. One of the doctors said he can do a tummy tuck also. Have anyone ever heard of they GYN doctor doing the tummy tuck also? Does
anyone have any suggestions for me? I am really considering but nervous.

I have a friend who had a tummy tuck while she had her hysterectomy, She's very happy with it. I tried to do the same but I didn't get the correct doctors lined up in the timeframe that I needed to, Plus my insurance is not that good so I don't think that they would've paid for a tummy talk for me

My Aunt had that done (the tummy tuck) while she was under for her hyster. Why not kill 2 birds with one stone, I say.. 2 surgeries with 1 recovery = PLUS !! Go for it.

Also know that your nerves are very normal. A hysterectomy is a tough surgery to contemplate. We really understand what you are going through.

I am having a breast augmentation immediatly after my LSH. But the augmentation is being done by a plastic surgeon. Personally, I would not feel comfortable having a cosmetic procedure performed by someone who is not a board certified Plastic Surgeon.

I just had a tah followed by a tummy tuck on July 5 2013; but by 2 separate specialists. 4 hours in the or. The hysterectomy has a longer recovery time, but honestly I am so uncomfortable because my skin is stapled together that I don't even notice any hysterectomy effects. Be warned: u can't stand up straight for about 2 weeks so my back just KILLS; and your abs/legs go numb, apparently this lasts several months.

The end result will be worth it tho, right?!

I am one week after my super cervical hysterectomy, I am going to report in details how everything went in a later date.. I can tell you right now there is no way I would want to do a Tummy tuck or any other procedure, Due to the anesthesiologist and the lingering effects also the CO2 that was pumped in my stomach. I was sick for about six days. The hysterectomy was not the problem the surgery was not the problem, it was the Anestheia and it was the CO2. I can't see adding anything else up that would involve any more surgery on top of any type of hysterectomy .
