oh no its op. day tomorrow!!!!

well after approx. 6 weeks of waiting 18th feb is nearly upon us.Its amazing how one minute its still weeks away and then its suddenly here.I had to force myself out of bed this morning,as the reality of it all is starting to hit home.I do not go into hospital until 3pm tomorrow and the op.will be early evening, how will i survive today waiting let alone tomorrow?my 2 older children will be in school tomorrow but i am unsure whether to take them in myself or let DH take them i dont want to be blubbing(crying) in the playground,do i?
DH is still ill,he has a chest infection so coughting constsntly, the doc. has given him some stronger anti biotics so hopefully they will do the trick! The last thing i need is a cough post-op,he has slept downstairs for the last week in an attempt not to pass on germs!
Oldest boy aged 8 is being a pain today and i am not handling that well although it is lunch time a nd i have only been in tears once so far.
we are having sunday roast, lots of veggies.I think i will just have a bowl of soup this evening.
Good luck to all other LIW i hopefully will meet you all on the other side, and a big thankyou to all the support you have given me over the last few weeks you really have saved me from going mad.
good luck, thankyou and bye c bye to you all
love debbiexxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

oh no its op. day tomorrow!!!!

Hi Debbie!

I can relate to your anxiety! I found it very difficult to focus on anything the day before my surgery.

Take lots of deep breaths (but don't pass out!)

Keep your eye on the prize; try to concentrate on how great it's going to be once you are home again, relaxing, being pampered, and focusing only on YOU and your healing and recovery.

Do something nice for yourself today; take a walk, or have your hair or nails done, pedicure, massage - read a book, go shopping, watch a movie (get the funny ones out of the way now, since I wouldn't recommend viewing a lot of humor right when you get home since the belly-laughs really hurt!) Start practicing everything being all about you.

Best wishes, sweetie! We'll be looking forward to hearing how your castle journey went.

Love N Hugs,
