Sore abdominal muscles 6 weeks post op

Has anyone else experienced this(or maybe everyone has!)? Tomorrow will be 6 weeks since my combo DaVinci/abdominal hysterectomy, and my abdominal muscles feel like I've been doing sit-ups. At this point, I wouldn't expect this(and I haven't been exerting myself). Any thoughts? Thanks!

I'm 5 weeks post op and increased my work hours from 4 to 6 this week and my belly is sore and tender at the end of the day, but not quite like I've been doing sit ups.

It took me 8 to 10 weeks for me to feel better. Actually at my third month I had no more pain. When I went back to work I worked part time at first and gradually worked up my time to full time. Everyone heals differently. I had people tell me it was 3 weeks or 6 weeks. I was a slow healer. I feel great now! Take it easy and do not over do it, your body takes time to heal.

IT has taken me a long time for my ab muscles to feel better and not ache all the time.

I am feeling the same thing. I thought I would be going forward not backward. I had a great follow up with my doc couple weeks back. Have been resting. Have not been over doing it! I feel like crap!
