7 weeks post hysterectomy - discharge

Hi ladies! I am now 7 weeks post-op. So sorry if this sounds vulgar. I apologize. I started with periodic discharge about 3 weeks ago. My doctor said it was normal. It started again this morning. It actually looks like dried blood. Is this normal? Also, it looks like the inside stitches are coming through on one side of my incision. Is this normal?

Re: 7 weeks post hysterectomy - discharge

At this point your stitches are going to be dissolving so some discharge related to that isn't uncommon. If you have any questions, I would put a call into your doctor's office for peace of mind.
