Just had DaVinci Hysterectomy 1/10/13

Hello all! I an currently recovering from the robotic hysterectomy I had on 1/10/13. It took them an hour longer than they anticipated (4 hours), and I have some muscle trauma on my left side that has slowed my recovery a bit.

I did keep my ovaries, but I have been experiencing hot flashes the last few days. My doc said this can happen because they still "messed with" the reproductive system. Has anyone else had this issue? Also, I was wondering how many are still experiencing PMS symptoms every month?
