Time to turn this mess around!

Let's see....I came home from the hospital on November 13 after my TAH that took the doctor 3 hours instead of 1-1/2. I expected to be uncomfortable (to say the least!) and managed the pain quite well, I think. My 20 year old son did his best to keep me fed and watered. So at week 4, I know my body is healing and I have only minor discomfort now, although I"m weaker than I would like to be.

Three days after I got home I checked my email and found out my bank, credit card, eBay, PayPal and email accounts had all been broken into and thousands of dollars of charges attempted. What a mess! I've spent the better part of three weeks trying to close accounts, stop payments, etc. It has been a nightmare. And what awful timing.

So now, I'm sitting here with no credit cards, using my son's bank account, having groceries delivered...and it's really time to TURN THIS MESS AROUND!!!!

Yuck, Penny, that really stinks. I know when someone got ahold of my parents credit card number it was a total mess. I feel for you.

I went through ID theft a few years back. Takes loads of time to get all sorted through. Good luck with it all.

Oh Penny, that is awful!!! I am so sorry this happened to you. Our check card got stolen one time and in a matter of hours, this chick had racked up $3,500!!! It was awful. Our bank handled it for us which was great!!!! I hope you get things situated soon!!!
