pressure in pelvic region?

Anyone have a problem with a almost constant pressure in their vagina? I feel like I am carring a bowling ball around down there and its trying to fall out.Is this normal? It feels even worse when I have to urinate. I am being treared for a pos UTI due to painful urination. But just wondering what this pressure could be. It is also making walkig very painful. Jess

pressure in pelvic region?

My guess would be swelling. I felt that way at first, like I had a large tampon in, or the way I did in the last few days before I gave birth. I am at 9 1/2 weeks and don't have that sensation anymore.

pressure in pelvic region?

Hi Jess
I had a lot of pelvic pressure too when I would be up and on my feet for too long. You say it is constant. Does this mean you really feel it all the time, even when you are resting? Have you been seen by your dr since your surgery?
If you have a uti this could add to the discomfort, but if this is really there all the time I think you should call and ask if this is normal. You could have something else going on and it would be better to catch it early. I also wonder how much you have been trying to do. You should be mostly resting and very little else. If you are trying to do things you shouldn't it could bring on these sensations.
I hope you will feel better soon. Let us know what you find out.

pressure in pelvic region?

For me it was when I would get up from resting or if I over did it a bit.very heavy pressure in that area. FOr me it was said to be normal. I can only tell you my experience. If it hurts alot or is allthe time or you woudl want pain meds , I would call DR.

pressure in pelvic region?

I was getting thst feeling too. It seemed to be worse about a week out and lasted days. I was constipated which I think added to it. I kept feeling like there was something right inside the vaginal opening or that it was a little "thick" in there. I also had a light smooth milky substance just outside. I was so afraid of a prolapse. It subsided but I got the same feeling yesterday after walking about 3 miles ( in several trips). I also noticed it more when I sat upright for long periods. I never called my Dr. but you may want to just to be sure. I will ask mine at my 6 week appt.
Take care and let us know what you find out!

I have similar pain as you. I just went to my DR today and told her about it. She did an exam and said everything was healing well. She did say if I am still having bothersome pain in a few weeks to come back. My pain is almost constant. Especially when I am sitting in a chair. I think it is going to take time but it will get better soon..I hope. Best wishes to you.
