New here introducing myself

I am Angela. My surgery is scheduled for the 30 November. I am a little nervous but feel it will be for the best.
About me:
I have PCOS really severely, most doctors say its worst they ever seen.
I have had 2 pregnancies end early 20 and 26 weeks due to pre term laabor. The last one was a csection and the scar adhered to my abdominal wall causing me constant pain. Doctor says cervix is shot and could not even carry pregnancy.
So now I am getting a TAH but keeping my ovaries and they will be drilled in hopes to relieve some of the symptoms of PCOS. They will take my cerrvix.

My biggest fear is that sex wont be good afterwards, but i have read that some of you have gotten even better sex lives!

I cant say I am happy to be here, but I will be a great supporter after Surgery is done!

Welcome!I am glad that you have found this site.I just had my surgery so I don't know about how well sex will be but I don't think it can be any worse than it was before for me.I had a TLH with BSO and bladder sling.If you have any questions or just want to vent ever this is the place to do it.Good luck with your surgery.

I am also new here and can't believe the wonderful support. Feel free to ask any questions that you have. I also have PCOS but I am having LAVH because of endo. Best of luck to you!!!

I am also scheduled for 11/30 TAH. I am to scared. I am 27. I have gotten a lot of questions answered. I am still scared. I have heavy uterine bleeding that does not go away and also PCOS. If you need to chat I am here.

I am very sorry to hear about your PCOS experience My sil has a bad case as well, and started a support group in her area (Salt Lake City). That has been a a big help to her emotionally.

Just joined about an hour ago and I wish I did'nt need this site but you know what we could support each other through it all. That's awesome. I wish you a speedy recovery folowing surgery. My date with the surgeon is Nov 26 and I have opted to think of it as the begining of a new life for me. I wish you well.
