Should discharge stop before resuming intimacy?

Does anyone know if you are supposed to have no discharge whatsoever before entering into the intimacy department? Consultant never said so, but I can't help thinking that if there is still discharge, then surely not everything is healed?

Have you been given the all-clear to resume sexual activity? If so, then it certainly wouldn't harm just to check with your doctor about this. If not, then you should wait as it's quite possible that healing isn't complete at 6 weeks post-op.
