Anyone with bladder issues one week after TAH?

I had a UTI and had to do two rounds of antibiotics. I did not have burning when I peed but I did have a terrible ache and when they tested my urine there was infection. I am 3 weeks post op today TAH and am feeling pretty good with no bladder issues - TOUCH WOOD !

Went to doc today. Urine clear. Says could be surgery and/ or IC/painful bladder syndrome. She gave me some sanctura to try in a few weeks if things don't get better. Hope all is well.

I am also experiencing this. It feels like it's hard to empty the last little bit. I'm just chalking it up to one of those post-surgery things that will clear up. I'm only 10 days out. If it is still like this when I go for post op checkup, I will mention it. But, you're not alone!

It ached and felt weird when I urinated for weeks and weeks after my surgery...even now, at 11 weeks post op I have moments where i think "good grief, I thought I was past that!"....thankfully it is not often though
