Dissolving Stitches ~ What Do They Look Like?

I've read lots of posts where some gals found a stitch in their panties. So I was wondering what they look like? I "think" I found one on Tuesday and then the next day I had spotting of blood that required a pad heavier than a panty liner. Today, no bleeding.

Dissolving Stitches ~ What Do They Look Like?

I had some stitches break at 3 weeks. I went to the dr. and he did an internal and was pulling the broken stitches out. I was bleeding fairly heavy then. The stitches he pulled out looked kind of like thread covered in blood. When I got up off the bed (TMI) there was a stitch left on the paper. It looked like a little white worm!! It was coiled up but when I used tishue to pick it up it looked like string too. The stitches I have coming out now ( I guess they are dissolving) are a brown color and still look kind of like string or a piece of balled up toilet paper. Until last night all I have had to use was a liner. Last night I had to use a regular pad but also had some other trouble (post about returning to work Monday)

If you are concerned about what is going on call your dr. They are here for any questions or concerns you have.
