Almost 6 months post davinci. It gets better

Hi ladies. I just wanted to drop. Post to let you know that I had my hysterectomy and bladder sling almost 6 mo th ago. If your at a place where you are feeling like it will never end and how long will I feel this way. I'm here to tell you it does get better! I promise. My recovery has been very low key but also slow. I am still not able to go all out back to what I was activity level. I am so grateful that I no longer have those horrid periods that lasted and lasted and lasted and no more uterine pain. I had all by ovaries removed though they went I to shock and are still not working so on HRT. My intimacy with hubby is returning (actually that is more active than 20 years ago) and my outlook is positive. Be strong sisters. Let your body heal. Don't rush into anything and enjoy life. The further out you get the better you feel. I promise

Great to hear! I'm 7 weeks out and pretty much back to normal. Swelly belly is huge after a long day and I'm anxious to get back to my workout routine. HRT is keeping hot flashes and other effects at a minimum. All in all I'm doing great and so glad to know even better days are ahead.
